Rules on block exemption and servicing your car during its warranty period.

Following public consultation, the European Commission considered that a specific block exemption is no longer warranted for the sale of new cars and commercial vehicles. This means that you no longer have to take your car to the main dealer to keep your warranty.

So thanks to this ruling if your vehicle is still within its warranty period you can choose any garage of your choice to service your new car or commercial vehicle without invalidating the manufactures warranty.
